While many therapy approaches help clients manage their symptoms, I have found that long-term change occurs when people are able to address their underlying emotions.  I help clients gain insight into themselves to find a different way to be, both within themselves and subsequently in their relationships.  When clients are able to understand and care for the vulnerabilities under their self- protective behaviors, they are able to become more compassionate toward themselves and others, leading to more connection in their relationships and an increased sense of trust in themselves to manage the difficulty in their lives in positive ways.

Common issues that I address with clients include:

*Relationship issues such as lack of connection, negative conflict, lack of trust due to infidelity and other forms of betrayal

*Depression and Anxiety including clinical, post-partum, and situational

*Grief and Loss for all types of loss a person has experienced

*Stress and Life Transitions such as work stress, divorce, empty nest

*Traumatic events and difficulty coping with traumatic responses

*Low self-esteem and lack of self-confidence
